Magnetic Island
I spent last weekend on Magnetic Island (a small island off of Townsville). Apparently so named because Captain Cook's compass stopped working as he passed by. It was a great place to relax, hike, snorkel, and kayak. And see wildlife! I saw a Koala and an Echidna!

Looks like a FABULOUS way to spend that time! I wish that you were passing through Austin on your way back "home." Heck, I wish I were in Colorado to join you!!
